NY 2025 Costs

Please Note: No part of the conference fees are attributable to our use of UN facilities (historically, Closing Ceremony on Day 5 of the conference). Our use of the UN facilities is subject to availability and approval by the UN.

Registration Fee (nonrefundable)

$200 USD per school / registration

Delegate Fee

$150 USD per student (delegate / head delegate)

Late fees are assessed if not paid in full by 15 February

Faculty Fee

$150 USD per faculty advisor

Students may not register as faculty

Faculty Sponsored Guest Fee

$50 USD per guest before the conference
$75 USD per guest at the conference

Students may not attend as guests; only faculty sponsored individuals may come as guests

Hotel

Everyone is required to stay at the conference hotel. Reservations must be made through NMUN for this discount rate. Book early! Once our rooms sell out you may need to pay full price.

$329 USD (2024 rate, expect it to be higher for 2025) per Standard Room (per night) with 2 double beds 
(1-4 people per room, if more than 2 people - they are shared beds. Rooms with 1 or 3 people may be given a King bed with a pullout.)

$249 USD (2024 rate, expect it to be higher for 2025) per Queen Room (per night) with 1 queen bed for faculty only
(The number of faculty Queen rooms is limited. 1-2 people may stay in these smaller rooms, if 2 people - it's a shared bed - one person must be a faculty advisor.)

Other Costs to Consider

  • Travel to and from NYC
  • Airport Ground Transportation - transport options from the main NYC airports: LaGuardia, JFK, Newark Liberty
  • Meals - food is NOT provided
  • Insurance - Health, Travel, Conference / Trip Cancellation, Emergency Evacuation, etc.
  • Passport - make sure the expiration date falls within the requirements, generally at least six months after the conference dates
  • Visa (if needed)
  • Sightseeing and Souvenirs
